STELLA'S SCHOOL 40TH ANNIVERSARY CHARITY CARNIVAL

The P.T.A of Stella's School is pleased to announce that Stella's School 40th Anniversary Charity Carnival will be held on Sunday, 1st November 2009 at the National Stadium from 8am until 4.30pm.

The carnival's objective is to celebrate Stella's School 40th Anniversary and at the same time raise funds for the less fortunate. The P.T.A charity work involves providing textbooks and uniforms for children of poor families who are in dire-straits. This is a very worthy cause and it is important to educate our children the need for community work.

The events lined up for the carnival are vast with Face Painting from Laneige to a family Treasure Hunt and horse riding. There will be lots of stalls providing entertainment and food and of course bouncers. It will be a very memorable day.

One stall in particular will be run by Primary Six students called "WHITE ELEPHANT STALL". This is where we request parents help. If you have any old books, magazines, toys, items that you DO NOT need, please donate them to the school in the next weeks, so that the Primary Six students will be able to sell them at the Carnival to raise money.

KINDERGARTEN CONCERT

The kindergarten concert will take place on Saturday, 7th November (evening). The kindergarten teachers will keep parents updated on costumes and props.

PRIMARY CONCERT

The Primary concert will be held on Sunday, 15th November 2009 at the ICC. The school is finalizing the performance and will keep parents updated about costumes and props.

REPORT BOOKS

Report Books will be released on Thursday, 26th November 2009.

SCHOOL FEES FOR 2010

School fees for 2010 are now due. The school will not reserve any places for any students in Primary after the 26th November 2009.

RE: STELLA'S SCHOOL 40TH ANNIVERSARY CHARITY CARNIVAL

We are pleased to announce that our long awaited for 40th Anniversary Carnival will go ahead on the 1st November 2009. It will be held at the same venue (Car park area of Brunei National Stadium) from 8.00 am until 4.00pm.

• Donations for the "WHITE ELEPHANT" booth to be handed to the school. All proceeds from this booth will be donated to charity. This is a stall that will sell unused/ not wanted items. This is a good time to recycle cups/ unused gifts/ our grown toys and so on, so that it could be sold and then the money used to help poor families with food and basic essentials. Please if you have any items that you feel you do not need anymore and wish to help us recycle please pass them to us as soon as possible. All clothes given by parents will not be sold on the "WHITE ELEPHANT" stall but will be bagged up and DIRECTLY passed onto the social workers to distribute to the needy.

- Kindergarten main entrance

• Coupons for rides and games are available from the office

• Anybody wishing to hire a booth for this event please ask for more information from the office. You allowed to sell food and other goods but NOT drinks as this has already been catered for.
