THE KINDERGARTEN PARENTS
Stella's school would like to welcome both the present and new, parents and students to a new academic year.
This year Stella's School will be celebrating its 40th anniversary. In conjuction with the occasion, we will be having lots of fun filled activities to celebrate this milestone and we will keep the parents updated, as we go.
We are happy to say most of our new students have settled in nicely and our school routine is back to normal.
Every Saturday KG students will having singing, creative art and games, therefore it would be best for students to wear sports gear and bring some extra drinks (water).
Other school days students are to wear school T-shirts with skirt or trousers. Homework will be given on Thursdays and Saturdays for KG2 and KG3 whilst KG1 students have homework only on Saturdays.
Please note, according to the 'CONDITION OF ENROLMENT', if a child wishes to celebrate a birthday party at Stella's School, the parents MUST GIVE at least one week notice to the class teacher. This is to avoid clashes with other students in the class who might also wish to celebrate their birthday on that particular day.
Individual reading is done everyday with the class teachers although we also encourage parents to practice reading with their child at home in order to install a passion for reading.
We would like to remind parents that the school hours are as follows:
Morning session 7.30am - 11.30am
Afternoon session 1.00om - 4.45pm
For safety reasons the gates and door will be closed everyday from:
Morning session 8.30am - 11.30am
Afternoon session 2.00pm - 4.45pm
During these times please use the office door.
For everyones's convenience and the maintain smooth traffic flow, no parking is allowed at anytime in the Kindergarten area. It is only a "pick up and drop off" point. Anyone who wishes to go to the office or send their child to the classroom please park at the car provided behind the primary building.
Thank you in advance for your help and co-operation.
