RE: Pencils in Primary
Please note, ALL primary pupils should come to school with their pencils already sharpened. No sharpeners are allowed in class. Sharpeners are dangerous in the hands of small children (esp. the round ones).
A few days ago a child who brought a sharpener to school, cut his finger badly when the blade became loose. (many a time, the sharpeners are poor quality and not assembled properly).
The school will collect and return to parents any sharpeners found.
